The CA Mustang Lacrosse Club (CAMLC) provides student/athletes in grades 2 through 8 the opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse. We believe that competitive athletics play a vital role in the development of young students. We believe that active participation on a competitive team combined with experienced coaching will develop in student/athletes lifetime skills such as teamwork, leadership and good sportsmanship.
The CAMLC’s goal is to provide a complete athletic experience by:
· Utilizing the best youth coaching in Colorado
· Intensive instruction aimed at teaching the fundamentals, principles and philosophies of lacrosse.
· Providing coaches, fields, volunteers and competitive league play
· Educating players and parents on the traditions of lacrosse
· Teaching respect for one another and one’s opponents
· Providing funding for those who cannot afford to play
· Getting a great introduction to and familiarization with the upper school lacrosse program that students will experience at CA
· Most importantly, having fun playing the great game of lacrosse
